Suzi loves, loves, loves the arts – and the internet. She studied history and art history at the University of Missouri and has a master’s in art history from the University of Iowa and a master’s in literary nonfiction from the University of Oregon. She spent nearly five years as an arts editor at her local alt-weekly, where she wrote mostly about the visual and performing arts but also about books, food, wine and music (especially classical music and folk music). She taught journalism as an adjunct for seven years at the University of Oregon and loves teaching writing about the arts anytime she has the opportunity. She’s a freelance writer and editor who adores Oregon and is working on a book about the Oregon Shakespeare Festival.
